Family and Couples
A family portrait should be a celebration of love and happy times. My style of photographing families is usually casual – in comfortable clothing, environment and posing. The difference from having a professional photographer with knowledge and experience versus "Aunt Mary" is that we can help you get the best from your portrait session. We will plan it according to your likes – indoors, outdoors, at your home or any other location. We will guide you with clothing ideas for the particular type of session you want. At the session, not only will I photograph the entire group but I will strive for variety and choose posing that is flattering to each individual. You may want a 3 generation portrait, but I will also photograph other groupings, too. Or maybe you just want a session of your immediate family. With smaller groups we can concentrate on background variety, different types of poses, some individual portraits of the kids, etc.
